It’s been a long year. Isolation, social distancing, business closures, quarantine, illness and death. Mental health illnesses, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts and alcohol use are all on the rise in Canada. And in this recent ‘shut down’ of Ontario, people are asking where is our hope? In our physicians? In a vaccine? Hope is a confident expectation. It is certain. The only hope we can assuredly have is found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If He did not rise again, we are not only without hope but our lives are established on a fabricated myth.
