We all long to be loved. Loved by friends…family…in a relationship. The yearning of our heart, no matter how hard we try to fill it with other seemingly satisfying choices, can only be filled by the love God offers us. Yet, the mystery of Christmas is as mesmerizing as it is unbelievable. Did God the Son really enter time and space? Did He truly love me enough to extend grace and pardon so I could be adopted into His family and embraced as the Father’s child? Is this the fabric on which all reality is woven from and built upon or as fictitious as Santa, Frosty and Rudolph.
