Complacency creeps in. We don’t intend it to, even don’t want it to…but it does. We’re not sure why it happens – is it the influence of our sinful nature, the onslaught of the enemy, pressure from the world’s dogma or how it happens – have we been distracted, busy, frustrated with our Christian walk…but regardless it happens…complacency creeps in. Complacency can easily lead to indulgence. And indulgence to apostasy. ‘Christianity doesn’t work,’ or ‘God doesn’t care.’
